H+W Creates Uplifting Work for a Local Treasure — the Kansas Aviation Museum

Howerton+White is proud to call Wichita, Kan., — the Air Capital of the World — home. Over the years, our marketing agency has enjoyed partnering with many aviation clients. We recently donated creative services to the Kansas Aviation Museum, including design, a script, and video direction. Our expertise in this area allowed us to develop a visual brand and tell a story that resonates with the museum’s mission.

We teamed up with our partners at Intake Studios to produce a special event video for the museum for use at its 30th-anniversary celebration.

Alan Kennedy, Director of Platform Strategy for H+W, is a volunteer and board member for the Kansas Aviation Museum and was a leader on this project.

The airplanes and artifacts on display were a pleasure to put on camera, but the museum staff and volunteers were the real stars, Kennedy said of the video.

The video was shot over a few days, but the design work was a longer-term project requiring an eye toward the future.

The unified brand imagery we’ve created for the Kansas Aviation Museum provides a cohesive, contemporary library of visuals the museum can use for many different events. We chose to use themes that resonate with the aircraft industry, such as the blue sky found in many pieces, said Kennedy.

Here’s a behind the scenes look at our team and members of the Intake video crew in production at the Kansas Aviation Museum.
