Butler Community College was eager
to promote the school’s hospitality management program, complete with
a growing culinary arts track. H+W’s creative team’s quick-fire challenge resulted in a successful awareness campaign, anchored by a “microsite”
to encourage foodies to get cooking
at Butler. As a result, BCC culinary courses increased 34 percent while the membership of its Industry Advisory Board doubled.

The festival’s 10th anniversary was an occasion to better engage a growing national/global audience of filmmakers and viewers. The online presence needed to match the maturity and quality of the festival. H+W, a Tallgrass sponsor, raised the level of online design and functionality. Bold colors and quirky imagery are juxtaposed against film equipment to support the association’s brand of stubborn independence.

Visitors to Kansas WTC’s website need news, certification classes and regulation updates regarding specific fields of business. H+W created an easy-to-navigate interface to deliver targeted information quickly. Registered users of the site can also access a customizable dashboard for user-centric info, participate in community forums, and get industry reports and alerts — all with a focus on international business.

WDDC needed a look and a message to capture the exciting progress of Wichita’s downtown. As downtown Wichita develops a Master City Plan, the site will inform current and potential residents about the progress. H+W branded and introduced Air Plains’ anti-detonant injection product, “Inpulse: The Unleaded Fuel Solution for Flight.” A small site helped educate pilots and industry experts about the new technology. Its launch corresponded with key trade shows. Messages include innovation, engine performance and safety. Large rotating home page slides teach the niche audience about Inpulse features and benefits.
